Woodland experiences for adventurous kids! Join us along one of Manitoulin’s trails this summer for a Woodland Adventure where we will explore wild spaces, play nature-based games, tell stories, create nature art, build shelters, track animals and discover other adventures as we come across them!

Time and Location: 9 am - 11:30 am

July 2019 Dates:

Wednesday July 3rd: Wagg’s Woods Trail (beside Island Animal Hospital, Mindemoya 5993 Hwy 542)

Wednesday July 10th: Kagawong River Trail, Kagawong 

(across from Billings Municipal Building 15 Old Mill Rd by the bridge.)

Wednesday July 17th: Orr Side Trail (Orr's Side Rd. about 100m just off Hwy. 6)

August 2019 Dates:

Wednesday August 7th: Wagg’s Woods Trail (beside Island Animal Hospital, Mindemoya 5993 Hwy 542)

Wednesday August 14th: Kagawong River Trail, Kagawong (across from Billings Municipal Building 15 Old Mill Rd by the bridge.)

Wednesday August 21st: Orr Side Trail (Orr's Side Rd. about 100m just off Hwy. 6)

Ages: 7 - 12.

Our vision is simple - to provide meaningful experiences that deepen a connection to the land.

Sarah (Earley) is a naturalist, artisan and traveler. She is also a certified teacher OCT with a background in Outdoor, Ecological and Experiential Education and has been working with people of all ages in outdoor settings for more than 20 years. At home in the woods, Scott (Miller) is a student of the Tom Brown Jr. Tracker School and the Kamana Naturalist Training program through the Wilderness Awareness School. He is skilled at starting fires without the use of matches and loves exploring the natural world. Together, we have a combination of skills which creates an engaging and exciting approach to outdoor learning for all ages.
